I've got another 9s trick for you. If you want to know what 9 times another number is, then...
1. Hold your hands out in front of you, with all ten fingers up. 2. Count the n-th finger from the left (so, if 9x4, count the 4th finger). 3. Lower/close that finger and use it as the separator between the tens and ones digit. 4. The number of fingers to the left of the separator is the tens and the number of fingers to the right is the ones. 5. For example, in 9x4, I lower my 4th finger, leaving 3 to the left and 6 to the right. That means that 9x4 = 36.
