The Hunger Games

Hello all of you blog reader people! Did you all see my new header? I made it on Paint! Yeah!

Anyways, I have been reading the second book to the trilogy of one of my favorite books, The Hunger Games.

For those of you who haven't read it, here is an overview.

So there were 13 districts, each specializing in something (coal, fishing, etc.) and the capitol. District 13 revolted, and the capitol destroyed them. Now, every year they punish everyone with The Hunger Games. They draw a name of a girl and a boy from each district, and make them all fight to the death in the arena. Now the arena changes every year and it can be anything, a forest, mountains, desert, etc. It is also very high tech and filled with traps and cameras. There are no rules. Just live. Now, if this doesn't sound bad already, they force everyone to watch it on live TV.

"The Hunger Games" was one of those books where you stay up til one in the morning munching on pretzels and cowering in your blankets while reading it, jumping at every sound to make sure no one is going to jump out. It was an extremely well written book, and it was just really cool! I loved it, and the second book just keeps getting better and better.

I hope I got someone to read it, because it is one of my all time favorites.

"May the odds ever be in your favor!"
